NTI

Prior to Winter Break, Fayette County Public Schools announced that the district will use up to four (4) Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) days for potential inclement weather or school closures.

To ensure our students are prepared, we sent home Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Learning Packets with students on Thursday and Friday before Winter Break. They are in a manila envelope labeled with your child's name.

If your student was absent and didn’t receive their packet, they should have picked it up upon return from winter break.

These materials are designed to keep your student engaged in their learning from home if we are unable to meet in person. Please keep these packets in a safe, accessible place.

Quick Tips for NTI Success

  • Keep it Organized: Designate a specific folder or spot at home for the packet.
  • Teacher Support: On official NTI days, teachers are available via email and during office hours (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM). Google Meet links will be shared through ParentSquare and Toddle.
  • Completion: Students should complete the designated packet for the specific NTI day announced. Completed packets must be returned to school within three (3) school days of the NTI day.

Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions regarding the materials, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the front office at (859) 422-0039.
