The Latino Family Literacy Project: Family Stories

Using the book “Graciela’s Dream,” we explore themes around college preparedness through a reading group, chats with academic professionals, and conversations with other families.

• Learn what it takes to prepare for college.
• Familiarize yourself with the application processes for college entrance and financial aid.
• Receive information from college counselors.
• Participate in a free campus tour at a local college.

This series is geared toward middle school students (grades 6-8) and their families. Parents/guardians of high school students are also welcome.
